Storm & insurance restoration

Wind, ice and falling limbs do most of the damage here. We inspect, cover what is open to the weather, and document the damage so you have what your insurer asks for.

What is it?

Storm damage is not always visible from the ground: creased or missing shingles after a gust, granules knocked loose by hail, flashing pulled up, dents in gutters and siding, a limb through the deck.

We photograph and measure the damage, put a temporary cover over any opening, and write up what we found.

Your insurer decides what your policy covers, and the claim stays between you and your insurer. We can meet the adjuster on site to show the damage.

When do you need it?

  • Right after a nor'easter, a summer squall or a hailstorm, even if nothing shows inside.
  • Shingles, flashing or siding on the ground.
  • A tree or limb has come down on the roof.
  • Water inside during or after the storm.
  • Policies set time limits for reporting damage: check yours and report it early.

What does it cost?

The cost depends on the damage. If your policy covers it, the policy sets your share, usually the deductible.

If the damage is not worth a claim, we say so and give you a straight repair price.
